Starter :  

Shellfish cocktail (plated)

Cherry tomato, baby mozzarella and basil skewers (plated)

(the main starter is the shellfish cocktail so we need to know when you book if you would prefer this alternative as we need to preorder the second option in blue above)

Main course:

Traditional Christmas dinner. Turkey with stuffing balls, cranberry sauce, yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets. Vegetable selection of sprouts, roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips. Gravy.
Vegetarian alternative:  Pumpkin tortellini with sage butter and pangratto.

Caramelized pear cheesecake – Apple crumble, vanilla custard

Cheese Platter & biscuits Mince pies

BLACK TIE DRESS CODE FOR MEAL & PARTY

FOR MEN: We ask for a minimum of dark suit (matching jacket and trousers), PLAIN shirt and tie. We would prefer men to wear dinner suits if they have them with a bow tie.

FOR LADIES: COCKTAIL DRESSES, LONG DRESSES
(NO TROUSERS & NO BOOTS FOR LADIES FOR BLACK TIE EVENTS)

We strictly mean dressy evening dresses only, whether short or long and no skirt & blouse combinations. Also dressy, evening shoes and NO boots for these events. Definitely no leggings as not appropriate for a black tie event.

MASS SPEED DATING AT BLACK TIE EVENTS

At 9pm members who wish to participate will be invited to the dance area. Our helpers will organise everyone into a very large circle and partner members up for their first 2 minute date. The whistle will be blown every 2 minutes when we will ask the men to move to the next lady to their right to chat to her. This process will continue for 30 minutes until 9.30 giving all members participating a chance to chat to 15 members of the opposite gender.

Need to arrive about 8.30pm to check in and be ready to participate in the mass speed dating at 9pm.
