How do I join Contact Singles to attend events?
Go to the Join page and fill in your details. We are a members' club and we require details for attendance at events. The details ensure that members are genuinely unattached and that it is a safe environment at the parties.

Is the Membership Free to Join Contact Singles?
Yes, there isn't any charge to join our club. Once you have supplied your details it's only the events you pay for.

What is the dress code?
Please click on the dress code button for details on the dress code for the different types of venues. For club and pub venues we say jeans are ok but we are asking for a smart shirt and smart shoes. For hotel venues we are asking for no jeans. It is essential to wear smart trousers, smart shirt and shoes if a man. Definitely no denim items of clothing for ladies at the hotel venues.

What are the formats to your London singles events?
We have speed dating, lock & key and buffets & dining formats which all act as very good ice-breakers before the party commences. Click on 'Speed Dating in London' , 'Lock & Key Parties' or 'Buffets & Dining' for a more detailed description of each format.

Are members single and are the sexes balanced?
As we are a members' club and we take details to join it is safe to assume that people attending our events are genuinely unattached at the time of attending. We do keep in touch with our members so we know if the details supplied are accurate. We ask for prepayment for speed dating, lock & key or dining so we can ensure that there is a balance between men and women.

Will it be alright for me to come alone to your singles events?
We concentrate on introducing at our events. We have a team of 5 of us running each major event always with two dedicated to introducing. If a member comes alone to the speed dating or lock & key or dining we initially introduce members in mixed groups including ladies to other ladies who came alone and even men to other men. Obviously we're aiming to introduce members to people of the opposite sex but it always helps to make new social friends of your own sex too?

We also have a female networking service where we can put ladies in touch with other ladies living in their area and this means you could even travel into an event with another member. There isn't any charge for this service if you'd like to add your name to the networking list.

How do I find out more about your London singles events and what are your charges?
Please look on the diary page to see the list of forthcoming events. All charges and timings are shown on this page for each event. All you need to do is send in your details and then you can book for an event immediately. Just phone us on 020 8366 8596 or 07809 709099 with your card details if you wish to book an event for the earlier introduction service.

What is the cancellation deadline for your singles parties ?
Cancellation is usually two days before the event unless specified otherwise for the event you are booking. We don't usually take card payment until after 12 noon when past the cancellation for the event so this means that no payment will have been taken if you cancel by the deadline. Cancellation is always four days prior to major events. Payment is non refundable or transferable after the deadline but it is still worth letting us know if you cannot make it as we may be able to find a replacement, just cannot guarantee this at late notice.

What is the membership age range?
Most members are between 28 and late 50s at the Saturday functions. Mainly most of the members who join are aged between 35 - 55. Obviously members younger or older than this are welcome but this does seem to be the majority of our age range.
