Speed Dating Format
Contact Singles for speed dating in London Saturdays 35 - 49 or 40 - early 60s plus Fridays 20-35 or 25-40. Speed dating followed by big singles parties.
It is not intimidating to take part in our speed dating events in London. We definitely have a more relaxed approach to our style of speed dating as we look upon this purely as a very good ice-breaker at the beginning of the evening.

The men move tables every 3 minutes when the whistle is blown. We usually have about 15 moves as more than this is too exhausting. We provide numbered sheets and all the members wear name labels. We must stress that we stop at 15 moves even if we have 20 or more of each sex booked. You can still tick any of the remaining speed daters even if they were not one of the 15 you were speed dating with. You might talk to them before we start or at the buffet/party afterwards. We highly recommend bringing along some cards with your name and mobile written on them. You can pass your number to other people after the event via us but we think you are far more likely to hear back from others if they remember who you are. You might meet other people of your own sex who you would like to keep in touch with too so feel free to pass your number on the night as suggested or via us to anyone you would like to stay in touch with. These events are a brilliant way to network and make new friends, not just to find a partner.


We ask members to make notes on the people they speed date with so it is easy to remember who they were after the event i.e. first name, occcupation maybe, where they live, hobby, etc. Just a few quick notes will suffice to jog the memory after the event. You keep the tick list as a reminder of each person and ring, text or email us by the next day to give us your choices of anyone you would like to pass your number to. Remember though that you do have the whole evening where you will have a chance to pass your number on the night as there is usually a buffet and always a big party to follow. You might be more successful if you manage to exchange numbers on the actual night.

If the speed dating is followed by a meal we stop at 8.15pm so those speed dating can eat and relax before the party starts. More members join us for the dining part of the evening. New members often make the mistake of thinking that it would be easier to go to the party only for the first time. To enjoy the party later you need to get to know other members earlier in the evening on the speed dating, lock & key or the meal.

Arrival at our London speed dating parties is 7.00pm prompt to start at 7.30pm. This part of the evening is pre-paid to ensure even numbers of singles. We ask members not to book for the speed dating if they are not confident whether they can be at the venue by 7pm.
