Speed Dating Format
Contact Singles for speed dating in London Saturdays 35 - 49 or 40 - early 60s plus Fridays 20-35 or 25-40. Speed dating followed by big singles parties.
It is not intimidating to take part in our speed dating events in London. We definitely have a more relaxed approach to our style of speed dating as we look upon this purely as a very good ice-breaker at the beginning of the evening.

Arrival at our London singles events is 7.00pm prompt to start at 7.30pm. This part of the evening is pre-paid to ensure even numbers. This is the meal part of the evening where members sit man, woman, man, woman around the tables and men move tables between courses. This is the most relaxed way to meet members of the opposite sex before the speed dating starts at 9pm.

MASS FLUID SPEED DATING AT HOTEL EVENTS 9pm UNTIL 9.30pm.
This format is less formal and conducted standing up more like a cocktail party. We form a big circle with members standing around the venue. We position men in front of the ladies and the speed dating starts where members chat to someone of the opposite sex for 90 seconds until the whistle blows and the men are told to step to their right to chat to the next lady. This 30 minute ice-breaker is less formal than normal speed dating where members sit at tables and have a tick list to mark. This form of speed dating is simply an ice-breaker to get everyone chatting to 15 members of the opposite sex before the DJ kicks off the party from 9.30pm which goes on until 1am.

We recommend coming on the whole event from 7pm but appreciate not everyone can make this time which is why we have revised our speed dating format to start later at 9pm for those who work Saturdays. We advise that members arrive at 8.30pm to check in and be ready to start at 9pm. Remember people need to remove coats, go to the bathroom, get a drink, etc to be ready start on time.

We have found members participating who would never normally have booked to go speed dating anywhere. One male member said he talked to lots of new ladies this way where he would never have had the opportunity to talk to someone briefly and move on to another lady so quickly. 90 seconds really is long enough to get a feel for someone and know if you would like to continue conversation later when the party starts.
